About Guardian Recovery - Immersion

Immersion Recovery Center is a leader in substance use disorder treatment, backed by two decades of experience and a full continuum of care for clients and families. Their individualized approach blends evidence-based therapies with holistic practices, giving each client a well-rounded and personalized path to recovery. Clients engage in 12-Step facilitation, traditional talk therapy, life skills training, yoga, recreational outings, and more. Immersion Recovery Center is part of the Guardian Recovery network.

Customized Care Across Every Phase of Recovery

Immersion Recovery offers a complete range of services, including medical detox, residential treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), virtual care options, and comprehensive aftercare planning—delivered through a structured three-phase model.

Phase 1 focuses on detox, residential stabilization, and establishing a foundation for recovery. Phase 2 builds motivation and commitment through PHP (day treatment), a full-day program where clients may live at home or in a sober living residence. Phase 3 centers on reintegration through outpatient care, continued therapy, and optional sober living.

This phased model can extend to a full year of care or be condensed for clients seeking a faster track. Length of stay in each phase is personalized in collaboration with the clinical team. Across all levels of care, clients participate in evidence-based treatments such as motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Family-Wide Support and Long-Term Aftercare

Immersion Recovery emphasizes healing for the entire family system. Family workshops, therapy sessions, and psychoeducational lectures help loved ones understand addiction, build communication, and become supportive allies in recovery. Families can engage at the residential, PHP, and outpatient levels of care.

After treatment, Immersion offers robust aftercare planning to promote long-term success. Alumni participate in 12-Step meetings, individual and group therapy, and regular recovery-friendly outings and meetups. The center also provides extensive resources tailored for those in early recovery, ensuring ongoing support beyond the program.

Located in Delray Beach, Florida, Immersion Recovery Center features shared and private bedrooms, dedicated therapy spaces, a spacious common area, a communal dining room, and a relaxing lounge. Clients enjoy outdoor amenities such as a volleyball court and barbecue area, as well as cozy movie nights inside.

Holistic healing is woven throughout the experience, with offerings such as nutrition therapy, yoga therapy, and recreation therapy—featuring activities like snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, art, and music. This blend of comfort, structure, and holistic care creates a comprehensive environment for lifelong recovery.

FAQ's of Guardian Recovery - Immersion

Guardian Recovery - Immersion offer programs lengths individualized for each client. Generally detox is anywhere from 3-7 days and our extended recovery services can last anywhere from 1 week to 1 year. Guardian Recovery - Immersion Three Phase program generally is about 3-6 months.

Yes! Guardian Recovery - Immersion work with most major insurance providers. Guardian Recovery - Immersion offer free no-obligation insurance benefit checks for those who are interested in our program. Guardian Recovery admissions team will speak with your insurer and get a detailed verification of your insurance benefits and share those details with you. Unfortunately medicaid and medicare do not cover our facility.

The Immersion Program’s main office is located in Delray Beach, FL. Just down the road, in Boynton Beach, FL, is our detox and residential facility. Guardian Recovery just 15 minutes South of West Palm Beach, 30 minutes North of Ft. Lauderdale, and 45 minutes North of Miami.

During detox, medication is used to ease withdrawal from the drugs or alcohol that clients have been using. The types of medication used are determined by our medical team based on the needs of the client. Common medications used for opiate detox are Suboxone and clonidine. Alcohol and benzodiazepines are commonly detoxed using librium, gabapentin and baclofen. Clients will also see a Psychiatrist and medical team throughout their time in the Immersion program, where any mental health and medical issues can be treated with medication if needed. Guardian Recovery do not offer Suboxone maintenance or controlled substances after detox. If you have questions about medication please contact Guardian Recovery Treatment Advisors.

Absolutely. The Immersion Program understand that addiction affects the entire family system and encourage families to participate in their loved one’s treatment. To help families recover Guardian Recovery also offer intervention services, case management, and family workshops.
