About The Camp Recovery Center

Since 1984, The Camp Recovery Center has aided in the rehabilitation of thousands of individuals at our residential, 25-acre facility located in Northern California. It is within this tranquil environment that is nestled in the Redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains that we provide these individuals with the opportunity to participate in our highly structured and successful drug and alcohol rehab program.

The Camp Recovery Center is licensed by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, and certified by the Commission of Rehab Facilities (CARF). We maintain a strong reputation as a premier provider of specialized addiction treatment services.

FAQ's of The Camp Recovery Center

Your length of stay will be dependent on a variety of different factors, including your individual needs, however a typical stay in our residential program is 30 days.

Yes. Visitation is on Sundays from 3PM-5PM for adults, and 12PM-2PM for adolescents. Visitation is not allowed on the first Sunday of care in order to allow clients to integrate into the program. Visitors must be approved by the case manager and are limited to family members only.

Yes. The Camp have three pay phones available for adult patients during posted hours. The staff will assist adolescents with all phone calls.

Smoking is not permitted for adolescents, however smoking is permitted for adults only on cabin decks and in the designated smoking area. The Camp encourage participation in our smoking cessation program.

The Camp do have a dress code, and ask that all clients do not wear any clothing representative of gang or drug culture, or clothing that contains inappropriate logos. No tank tops, midriff shorts or short shorts are permitted. Men are expected to wear shirts at all times (except while in the pool area) and wear pants that fit appropriately. One-piece bathing suits are to be worn and cover-ups should be worn when not at the pool area.

Chores will be a part of your stay at The Camp, along with other basic tasks including keeping rooms clean and making beds.

Since The Camp is a preferred provider for numerous insurance companies, we are able to help you utilize your insurance in ways that can help cover some (if not all) of the costs of treatment.
